No. The extension and dashboard are free. Optional extras may come later – the core stays free.

Do I need an account?+

No. The extension works right away, and everything stays local in your browser. You only need an account if you want your entries on multiple devices.

Does RENEW read every page I visit?+

No. Pages are only read when you click “Capture this page” or explicitly allow a shop – and then analyzed locally.

Is RENEW in the Firefox and Chrome stores?+

The Firefox version is signed by Mozilla and installs permanently; the Firefox Add-ons listing has been submitted. The Chrome Web Store is next – until then, you load it in Chrome as an unpacked extension.

Does RENEW remind me when my browser is closed?+

Reminders arrive while the browser is running, and missed ones show up the next time you start it. For dates everywhere: calendar export.
