The extension is a complete little app: add entries, see deadlines, get reminded in time and capture order pages with one click. It works without an account. Your data stays in your browser until you export it yourself or sync it with the dashboard.

Install in Chrome
- Unzip the ZIP.
- Open
chrome://extensionsand turn on Developer mode in the top right. - Choose Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
- Pin RENEW to the toolbar via the puzzle icon.
Install in Firefox
- Open this page in Firefox and click Add to Firefox.
- Firefox asks whether this site may install add-ons: choose Continue, then Add.
- Pin RENEW to the toolbar via the puzzle icon.
How to use RENEW
- + New: enter name, amount, billing cycle and date. For auto-renewing subscriptions, RENEW rolls past dates forward on its own.
- Capture this page: click it on an order confirmation or account page. RENEW reads price, billing cycle and deadlines. You check the result and save. You can also right-click → “Capture this page in RENEW”.
- Purchase prompts: allow them for individual shops in the settings. After a purchase, a small prompt appears there to capture it.
- Reminders: notifications 30, 14, 7, 3 or 1 day ahead, while the browser is running. The counter on the icon shows deadlines in the next 7 days.
- Data: backup (JSON), import, calendar (.ics for Google, Apple, Outlook) and spreadsheet (CSV).
Optional: connect to the dashboard
Open your dashboard signed in, in the same browser, and tap Settings → Sync now in the extension. Your cloud entries then also appear in the list (marked “Cloud”). You edit them in the dashboard.
RENEW only reads page content when you click or allow a website, and analyzes it locally. Don’t enter passwords or license keys.
