How to cancel Shopify

Step by step

Open the official Shopify account page (button above) and sign in with the account that pays for the plan.
Make sure you are an owner or admin of the workspace – only they can change the plan.
Open Billing / Plan and downgrade or cancel.
Check seats and add-ons: they are often billed separately.

Before you cancel

Cancel at least 1–2 days before the next renewal date – a renewal processed overnight is rarely refunded.
Paid through Apple, Google Play or a mobile carrier? Then you have to cancel there, not on the Shopify website.
Export your data (files, messages, records) before downgrading – free plans often limit history.
