How to cancel Vultr

Step by step

Open the official Vultr account page (button above) and sign in with the account that pays for the plan.
Back up everything you still need from the server or project.
Delete or cancel the server / plan under Billing (on many hosts, a server keeps billing until it is deleted).
Check that no other paid resources (backups, IPs, volumes) are left on the account.

Before you cancel

Cancel at least 1–2 days before the next renewal date – a renewal processed overnight is rarely refunded.
Paid through Apple, Google Play or a mobile carrier? Then you have to cancel there, not on the Vultr website.
Cancelling the billing plan alone doesn’t always delete running servers – check the resource list afterwards.
