Track every software license – and renew only what you still use
Short answer: Yearly licenses are the easiest subscriptions to forget: one charge, then silence for 12 months. RENEW stores each license with its renewal date and cancellation deadline and reminds you 30, 7 and 1 day before.
What to track for each license
- Renewal date and whether it renews automatically
- Cancellation deadline (often 14–30 days before renewal for business plans)
- Price per year – RENEW also shows it per month
- The account or manage page to cancel or downgrade
- Notes like customer number or plan (no passwords)

- Open the purchase confirmation or invoice email in the browser and click “Capture this page”.
- Import PDF invoices – processed on your device.
- Use “Quick add” for Adobe, Microsoft 365, JetBrains, 1Password and many more with their real logo.
For small teams
Export the list as CSV for accounting, or subscribe to your private calendar link so every renewal shows up in Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar.
Questions
Can I track one-time (lifetime) licenses?
Yes – mark them as one-time. They are kept for reference but do not count toward your monthly total.
Does RENEW support other currencies?
Yes: EUR, USD, CHF and GBP, with totals per currency.
Can I get reminders by calendar?
Yes. Export an .ics file or use the private calendar subscription link in the dashboard.
